ROG Ally Z1 Cooling solutions

Rog Ally handheld is a portable gaming device; Every gaming device will generate heat and for that, you need an optimal cooling solution.

The Asus Rog Ally Z1 has a very robust cooling solution. It has 2 exhaust vents, both are for the APU and all the vents are on top of the gaming device.

It has a single copper heat pipe with a capillary structure that increases capillary pressure by more than 15%; hence, it improves the cooling of the gaming device even when upside-down. Asus calls it an Anti-gravity heatpipe.

Ally has dual cooling fans with fluid dynamic bearings for less friction even when you hold it in any orientation. It has thinner fans than its predecessor Ally.

The two air intake vents are covered with dust filters to prevent dust and other foreign particles from entering the fans.

The two heatsinks are lined with ultra-thin aluminum fins of 0.1mm for higher heat dissipation and offer lower air resistance for smoother airflow.
